Chichén Itzá

One of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Chichén Itzá is the largest city of post-classic period of the Mayan civilization in the Yucatan Peninsula. The center of pilgrimage for the ancient Maya has received in 1988 the UNESCO World Heritage Site status, making it a must-see tourist attraction. Among its most breathtaking structures, you will see the Pyramid of Kukulkan and the 25-meters high Mayan calendar stone.

On our way back we’ll stop to refresh into one of the many cenotes in the region and after we will then have a walk in the colonial town of Valladolid, where we will enjoy a delicious typical regional lunch.
